SlideRite Document Holders from Posturite can be used anywhere on the desk surface, and in some circumstances even inline between the keyboard and monitor. With a fixed 50° angle, the SlideRite positions documents at an angle that minimizes the need to bend the neck, reducing potential strain.

SlideRite Document holders are made of 5mm thick frosted acrylic, and come equipped with a removable line guide to aid in navigating through text. The SlideRite is available in two compact yet versatile sizes. The standard model is 8.7" wide by 8.5" high by 9.4" deep and can hold letter-sized documents while the large SlideRite is 17.5" wide by 9.3" high by 9.4" deep and can hold two letter-sized documents side by side.

The Clean-Doc Document Holder from Bakker Elkhuizen is a convenient ergonomic inline document holder solution that can mount to any standard VESA 100 compliant LCD monitor arm. The Clean-Doc addresses the ergonomic concerns associated with repetitive neck rotation and flexion when using reference documents. This is accomplished by positioning these documents centrally, directly below the monitor. When not being used for document viewing the Clean-Doc can also be elevated from the desk and stored horizontally, creating more desk space. The clear acrylic easel has a convenient pen holder and can also be used to store both keyboard and mouse when not in use, ideal for offices with a "clean desk" policy.

When in use the Clean-Doc must rest on the desk surface, leaning back against the support bracket. Storing the Clean-Doc is accomplished by lifting the front edge until the unit is horizontal and sliding it into the support and storage bracket. Note that the Clean-Doc is a document holder and is not intended as a writing surface.

The Vu Ryte 59GR Inline Document Holder mounts in conjunction with a monitor on any VESA-compatible monitor mount, keeping documents directly in front of users regardless of the position of the monitor. This helps to reduce neck and upper back strain caused by constant movement of the head (which occurs when users are viewing documents placed flat on the desk or to the side), and to reduce elbow and shoulder strain caused by overreaching when repositioning reference materials. By attaching directly to the monitor arm, the VUR-59GR moves in tandem with the monitor, making it suitable for use even with sit/stand monitor arms. In addition, the VUR-59GR optimizes workspace by floating above the desk, thereby allowing other desk tools to be brought into the user's comfort zone.

The VUR-59GR is adjustable in height, depth, and angle, and can be reconfigured to support documents ranging in size from envelopes to 8.5" x 11 papers.

Note: The 59GR does not easily accommodate legal-sized or larger papers, and is not designed as a writing surface.

The Book Stand / Copy Holder from Aidata is an economical all-in-one solution that effectively serves as a book stand, copy holder and photo frame. The non-skid stand has 3 viewing angle adjustments, with the sturdy plastic construction capable of supporting up to a 1.5" thick book. Two adjustable page holders keep books open to the desired pages. An extendable document clip accommodates vertically-oriented 8.5" x 11" papers, and the convenient built-in picture frame will accommodate a 4" x 6" photo.

The Q-Doc Document Holders from Bakker Elkhuizen are elegant, "inline" document holders capable of supporting all kinds of documents, including heavy files and binders. Using the Q-Doc improves body posture and comfort level by centrally positioning documents between the monitor and keyboard, eliminating neck twisting when viewing reference documents. The work surface is fixed in that it cannot be drawn down over the keyboard as can other more versatile holders such as the FlexDesk 640. However, the Q-Doc holders still offer seven possible angle and height settings to align documents for optimal viewing in relation to screen height. The Q-Doc holders can be slid forward over the keyboard when writing or notating needs to be done, eliminating the need to reach forward. Doing this provides support for the hand and arm when writing and can significantly reduce the risk of shoulder strain.

There are two models of the Q-Doc. Model 415 is designed for use with compact keyboards and is 15.35" wide, 10.8" deep and 4.5" high. The larger model 515 will work with both compact and full-size keyboards and is 20.3" wide, 11.4" deep, and 4.7" high. With both models, as the document holder surface is adjusted to steeper angles the rear elevation does increase beyond the minimum shown. The MultiRite is an adjustable two-in-one writing surface and document holder which also has the ability to extend towards the user and 'float' over the keyboard without any need for support. The sides of the unit are composed of 2 sturdy plate metal sheets which are riveted at the front to a third centre piece. Side-mounted quick release knobs can be positioned to offer two ranges of adjustment. The lower range offers 8º to 22º of adjustment with the second range extending from 3º to 33º. The rear of the MultRite elevates from 4.7 inches to 6.7 inches or 4.7 inches to 8.25 inches depending on the range selected. The easel is made of rigid frosted acrylic with a 0.2" high metal ledge at the bottom to support documents. Two ball bearing tracks allow the easel to extend forward 6.5" (16.5 cm) along the track in the direction of the user, even able to drop 1.38" below the work surface. This is sufficient to some or all of the keyboard. This accessory eliminates the twisting and overreaching which often results when writing to the side or 'over' the keyboard.

The elevated secondary extendable worksurface provided by the MultiRite gives users the ability to bring a temporary writing surface into their primary comfort zone which is typically occupied by the keyboard, and store it when the task is complete. A magnet prevents unintentional movement of the easel when it is stored, and rubber feet ensure overall stability of the unit. The MultiRite can be used on both single and dual surface worksurfaces as well as workstations with articulating keyboard arms or drawers. It is available in three sizes of varying widths; Standard (20"), Mini (14") and Large (22").

Note: Two styles of Wrist Rest Accessory (sold separately) are available--Gel or Foam. The wrist rest is approximately 9" wide, fits into the pencil groove at the front of the easel, and slides to the other side of the easel when not needed. As well as its intended use, the wrist rest can also serve to hold a higher stack of loose papers in place.
