The STEYBIL Leaning Stool from ErgoVerse permits individuals to sit or lean while working, thereby reducing the weight load on the joints of both the legs and feet. This upright position also makes it easy to return to a fully standing position with minimal effort. The STEYBIL seat offers an infinitely adjustable height range from 24" to 34" and a forward-tilt that locks in at any point between 5° and 20°. For those whose work may require a degree of turning or who must get on and off the seat on a regular basis, the seat also provides a full 70° of swivel range (35° to either side) with an automatic return to centre.

The STEYBIL is now available with several seat options. One model features a formed polyurethane seat that provides a firm yet cushioned seating surface with cooling airflow channels. This model is well-suited to environments where rough use may be encountered as the seat is highly resistant to cuts or punctures and can also be easily cleaned. Three other models all feature a softer polyurethane foam base covered with easily cleanable leatherette. The Kanewell Twin Compact Adjustable Saddle Seat was developed to provide those of smaller or more slender build with a seating option better suited to their needs. This saddle stool features a comfortable split-saddle seat with the added benefit of splay and tilt adjustment for a personalized fit. The primary design is very similar to other Kanewell Twin Saddle models, with the saddle offering the same amount of cushioning and the same degree of splay at the front. However, because this seat is specifically intended for those of smaller build, the seat halves do not separate at the rear as on the full-size Kanewell Twin saddles, but rather pivot from a single point at the rear of the saddle to achieve the outward splay at the front. In addition to the splay feature the saddle also features the same locking tilt that permits individuals to position the seat at an angle that is most suitable for their needs or comfort.

Saddle seats are well-suited for use in active office environments, at raised counters, elevated workstations, or anywhere there is a need to be able to move into close proximity to the working area—such as dental, medical, or veterinary practices. The upright posture provided by the saddle-seating encourages better back posture, provides a much greater range of movement than that available from traditional seats, and enables virtually effortless movement about a workspace. The split-saddle is designed to reduce pressure points and improve airflow for a cooler and more comfortable experience, especially during longer periods of concentrated work. In order to meet the needs of those of smaller build the saddle on the Kanewell Twin Compact Adjustable Saddle Seat is both narrower and shallower than the standard seat (see comparison here). Upholstered in high grade Vinyl that is waterproof and resistant to most common cleaners and disinfectant formulations, the Kanewell Twin Compact seats are available in two height ranges to accommodate individuals of varying heights. Large diameter (60 mm) casters offer smooth movement throughout the workspace. Optional accessories include a footring to provide stability and comfort support when the chair is elevated (the height of the footring is adjustable independently of the height of the chair), the 360° Arm Accessory, and fixed glides as an alternative to the casters.

* Note: Saddle seats are not typically promoted with backrests as the saddle stance naturally encourages better back posture. The 360° Arm Accessory from Kanewell can rotate to any position around the seat, enabling it to be used as an armrest for either the left or right arm, as a forward leaning or elbow support, or as a stretcher bar for the back. It can easily be locked into position when stability is required. The height of the 360° Arm Support is also adjustable so users are able to move it to the elevation that offers them the most suitable support. The 360° Arm Support can be used by anyone who may need to stabilize themselves while leaning. The 360° Arm Accessory comes as a kit which includes both the 360° Arm Support Accessory as well as a replacement pneumatic spring. Installation on a new Kanewell Twin Adjustable Saddle Stool is done with ease, as part of the stool assembly. Retrofitting a fully assembled Stool requires removal and replacement of the existing gas lift cylinder with the unit included in the kit, thereby ensuring that the Stool retains is original range of height adjustment.

With a seat height range of 23.75" - 33.1", the STEPL Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse can provide those working at fixed-height elevated workstations a stable and comfortable seat. The STEPL features a wide seat and back rest, both with 2" thick padding for comfort. The angles of the seat and back rest are independently adjustable, with the back rest also adjustable in height, features that let each person to position support where it is most beneficial. Seat height adjustment is via a standard gas spring lift that also provides a shock-absorbing effect.

Two footrest options are available. Models SDC-BLK-05004 and SDC-GRY-07033 are equipped with a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel foot ring that provides a convenient 360° of fixed support for the feet. Model SDC-BLK-07030 features a 120° steel footrest with an aggressively treaded surface for safety. The gas lift provides a seat height anywhere between 22" to 27.6" and the seat also has the option of forward tilt up to 15°. The EQUSIT Saddle Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse features a heavily padded, tilting, bicycle-style seat mounted to an elevated heavy duty steel frame. A gas spring provides a cushioned seat height range from 27.75" to 36.6", sufficient to provide a suitable seating height for most individuals working at elevated workstations. The wide back features 2" thick cushioning and has independent height and angle adjustments to optimize the comfort and ergonomic positioning.

Two footrest options are available. Model ESDC-83015 features a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel footring that includes a convenient height-adjustable (minimum of 9" above the floor) 360° fixed footrest. Model ESDC-F-83016 features a folding height-adjustable (also to a minimum height of 9") 120° footrest with angle adjustment. For safety, the steel footplate has an aggressively treaded surface. Both styles of footrest can be secured at greater elevations if necessary.

Both models also have oversized 27" diameter Chromed Steel bases equipped with glides. The large base and glides ensure stability when mounting and dismounting from the saddle. If desired, the base on Model ESDC-F-83016 can be folded flat for storage.

The CITZ Saddle Seat from ErgoVerse is intended to provide industrial workers with a seating solution that can be an aid to improving their overall health while also offering greater safety in the workplace. The wider stance when straddling a saddle seat provides an extended range of reach, while at the same time ensuring excellent stability and control. As well, the upright stance provided by saddle sitting is known to encourage upper body movement which can lead to better and deeper breathing and has the potential to improve overall circulation.

Both the seat and back rest are formed from firmly cushioned self-surfaced polyurethane foam that can be easily wiped down, ideal for workplaces where regular cleaning may be necessary. The fibreglass-reinforced base is equipped with special self-braking casters which permit the CITZ to roll freely when in use but brake when weight is lifted. This ensures that the seat doesn't roll but rather remains in the same position, adding to the safety and enhancing the ability of the seat to aid workers in maintaining focus on the task at hand. A full 360° of free rotation accommodates alignment to equipment or reaching to other work areas as needed. The gas lift provides a seat height anywhere between 20.9" and 26.4" and the seat also has the option of forward tilt up to 15°. This tilted seat position rotates the pelvis forward, providing a more natural alignment of the back--both healthier and more comfortable for many. For those who need or are looking for back support, this chair is equipped with a removable back rest that offers both height and angle adjustment.

Note: The outer dimensions of the back support are 14" wide with a 2.5" deep curvature in the middle. Those with broader builds may find the firmness of the concave edges on the back less than ideal for comfort.

The EVERY 157E Series High Back Task Chair from Interstuhl is designed for comfort and support, especially for those who require a higher back rest or are looking for a firm and supportive chair. The standard synchronous movement features a large opening angle (up to 120°) that can be left unrestrained when freedom of movement is desired. For times when a more fixed position is required, the back rest is easily locked at the 90° or 120° points.

The back rest and seat on the EVERY 157E are fully upholstered with breathable fabric over firm but comfortable cushioning so those who prefer a firmer or more supportive back rest will not be disappointed. The 24.5" high back rest frame has a built-in lumbar curve which can be fine-tuned or enhanced using the height-adjustable, sliding lumbar support. The firmness or degree of the lumbar support can also be adjusted using a knob on the rear of the back rest. The seat pan has 2" of depth adjustment (16.5" to 18.5") so each person can adjust it for their build and the absence of glue between the fabric and the foam ensures optimal airflow in both the back rest and seat.

Arm support is provided by highly-adjustable 4D T-armrests that can move in four separate directions: up and down, left and right, forward and backward and swivel (15° in or out). Most individuals, regardless of size or build, should be able to achieve the support necessary to minimize strain on their shoulders and neck.

Rounding out the EVERY 157E are soft double casters for use on hard-surface flooring and a premium Polished Aluminum base.

The EZSIT Leaning Stool from ErgoVerse is a sturdy leaning or sitting stool that offers a larger-than-average seating surface, combined with extra cushioning for superior comfort. Height adjustment is accomplished via a gas spring that also serves to absorb impact as one lowers themselves onto the seat.

The EZSIT Leaning Stool models were developed in response to client feedback about other options in sit-stand seating. Many found the seats and backs on other models too small and narrow, making those models uncomfortable for extended work sessions. The EZSIT Leaning Stool, with its increased cushioning and greater surface areas, can provide comfort and support to a full range of builds and sizes, especially for lengthy work sessions. The large 18.7" by 13" seat tilts from 0° to 15° to accommodate both sitting and leaning and generous padding provides support without sacrificing comfort. Two ranges of seat height adjustment are available to provide seating options for people ranging in height from barely 5' tall to 6'6" tall.
