The Ovation Sit-Stand Keyboard Arm by KV Waterloo offers a range of height adjustments to accommodate sit-stand workstations. Using a patented "Lift N Lock" counterbalance mechanism the arm allows an attached keyboard tray to be positioned at heights ranging from 8.4" above the mounting point to 5.6" below it. The 23" storage track enables most keyboard trays to be fully stored beneath the desk when not in use. The curved neck (see the first image on the Detailed Specifications page for an illustration) allows individuals to be comfortably close to the desk when seated and when standing.

All Ovation Keyboard Arms include a low profile mounting plate for the keyboard tray. The mounting plate is connected to a "Direct Drive" dial tilt mechanism that includes an inclination gauge. By simply turning the dial, and watching the inclination gauge, one can easily set up their workspace to position their keyboard at the preferred inclination, from a positive inclination of +10° to a flat 0° to a negative inclination of -15°.

NOTE: On a standard 28.5" high desk (measured from the underside of the desk), the Ovation Sit-Stand Keyboard Arm will provide enough height for proper "standing" positioning of the keyboard tray with no inclination for those under 5'5". For individuals standing between 5’5” and 5’7”, this product can still be suitable but will require a negative inclination on the tray (which brings up the tray worksurface accordingly). This arm is also suitable for individuals under 5’ 7” who are using a “lean-into” seat which puts them in a position between sitting and standing. If negative inclination on the tray is acceptable, those between 5’ 7” and 5’ 10” may also be able to use this product to meet their needs. Taller persons may be accommodated by raising the mounting height through use of products such as the Raise-Its. Of course, monitor elevation must also be considered when moving to a standing position.

The Duet Sit-Stand Arm can be employed to create a sit-stand workstation suitable for a wide range of heights. It is able to be lowered a full 6.5" below and raised to 12.5" above the mounting point.

The Duet Sit-Stand Arm features a convenient tilt control release permitting ±15° of worksurface adjustment and a field adjustable coil spring which adjusts for load counter balance. Height adjustment is easily accomplished by using the T-pull release to disengage the lock, then raising or lowering the tray to the desired working height. The slim (only 0.75" wide) dual arm (with crossbar) design ensures that the knees and legs have plenty of room - and far more than any single central support arm. The Duet Sit-Stand Arm is available in four widths, each offering progressively more width between the tray support arms. For optimal workspace and knee clearance the wider models are generally recommended unless there are space restrictions.

The Duet Sit-Stand Arm easily accommodates custom-built trays or you may choose to select the appropriate Duet Arm Custom Tray to create a complete sit-stand workstation. The 39" tray is wide enough for a keyboard, mouse, phone and notepad - a complete desk available for use while sitting or standing.

When installed on an average height, 1" thick worksurface (28.5" from the floor to the underside of the desk), this arm can elevate an attached tray to 41". By taking advantage of the negative inclination option and angling the front edge of the tray upwards, the potential height range can be extended slightly higher (42" - 43"). Note: For taller individuals it may be possible to achieve greater elevation by employing a product such as RaiseIts to raise the desk, thereby raising the mounting point. If this is not practical there are many other options available to create sit-stand workstations for taller persons.

While the Duet Sit-Stand Arm does offer a wide range of height adjustment, it accomplishes this with the sacrifice of storability. If the ability to store the tray below the desk is necessary there are other options which may be suitable. Please call and speak with a Customer Service Representative should this be the case.

The 501-27 Series from Conset allows the entire workstation to be raised and lowered easily and quickly at the touch of a button, offering a cost effective solution for sit-stand or multiple-user workstations. The Triple Nested Column design ensures stability throughout the 26" range of adjustment. The frame height adjusts from 21" to 47" at 1.2" per second with a lift capacity of 220 lb. The Anti-Squeeze Protection System will automatically engage if the resistance increases noticeably while the table top is moving down. (Note: it is important to add the thickness of the table top to the frame height to determine the final working height.)

The 501-27 bases will support a wide variety of work surfaces ranging in depth from a minimum of 18" to a maximum of 48" (Note: mounting deeper 36" - 48" work surfaces requires the installation of the 501-27 Support Extender Accessory to ensure stability.) It uses a near-effortless patented "Lift-N-Lock" counterbalance mechanism to adjust an attached tray from 7.0" below to a full 3.8" above (17" track version: 5.8" below and 2.6" above) the mounting point. A Height Indicator Gauge makes adjustment easy to measure. The inclination, or "tilt," of the tray can be adjusted from a negative inclination of -15° to +10° using a large Dial-a-Tilt knob that includes an "Inclination Gauge" (allowing accurate repositioning at the desired angle).

The sleek, low profile design provides excellent clearance for the legs and knees. The arm swivels 360° from the track mount for side to side movement. Three track lengths are available. The 17" (8634D17) model can be deployed where mounting space is restricted but has a more limited range of height adjustment and does not permit full storage of trays. The 23" (8624D23) storage track offers the full range of height adjustment and permits full storage of trays up to 11" in depth. To fully store an Extra-Deep (13") or Mouse Intensive Tray underneath the desk, an Extended Track (8624D28) version is also available with all the features of the 8624D23 but equipped with a 28" track. All Ovation models accept all standard trays and use a high quality steel ball-bearing storage track that has a much longer lifespan than a glide track.

The 501-37 Series from Conset follows an open design concept, giving lots of open space between the base legs as there is no lower crossbar. The height-adjustable base allows the entire workstation to be raised and lowered easily and quickly at the touch of a button for variable tabletop widths (from 46" to over 60"). The Triple Nested Column design ensures stability throughout the 26" range of adjustment. In addition, the frame height adjusts from 21" to 47" at 1.2" per second with a lift capacity of 220 lbs. The Anti-Squeeze Protection System will automatically engage if the resistance increases noticeably while the table top is moving down. (Note: it is important to add the thickness of the table top to the frame height to determine the final working height.)

The 501-37 bases support a wide variety of table tops ranging in width from 46" to over 60" and in depth from a minimum of 18" to a maximum of 30".

The new design also yields an increased upper range - permitting the frame to elevate from 25" to 49" at a rate of up to 1.26"/second. The lower range is slightly higher than other frames but at 25" is generally acceptable for all except the shortest individuals.

The Taskmate EZ from HealthPostures is available in two models. The Computer Workstation version includes both an adjustable height work surface and monitor mount. The Surface version does not include the monitor mount but can be used as to elevate a laptop for short term use. The Surface version can also serve well as an adjustable assembly or work surface in industrial applications were individuals of varying height may utilize workstations. Taskmate EZ units are equipped by default with a thru-mount that bolts through the surface of the fixed height desk using a single hole. There is also a clamp mount accessory available that can be used to mount the Taskmate EZ to desks no deeper than 24". Both the work surface as well as the monitor height are independently reconfigurable by physically lifting and moving the unit from one notch to another, providing configuration options in 1.5" increments. The monitor can be attached to any of 14 notches in the vertical column, providing a range of height between keyboard tray and the middle of the monitor of a minimum of 13" and a maximum of 31.5".

The Taskmate EZ is capable of supporting up to 50 pounds, and provides the ability to set the monitor (at its midpoint) from 15" to 33" above the mounting surface. The work surface can be positioned from 2" to 20" above the mounting surface when being used with the monitor support and up to 33" above the mounting point when used without a monitor. The work surface provides an 18" deep x 23.5" wide area for the keyboard, mouse and papers. In idustrial settings it can serve to position tools and equipment at a range of heights. The monitor mount will accommodate monitors with either 75mm and 100mm VESA patterns. Some assembly is required (approximately 5-10 minutes).

The Taskmate Executive from HealthPostures is a modification-free way to create a full sit to stand workstation on any standard desk. This ruggedly constructed freestanding metal unit weighs over 50 lbs, sufficient to provide stability through its full range of movement. Height adjustment is via an electric motor that raises and lowers the monitor(s) and keyboard simultaneously. The upper surface can be adjusted to any point between 5.5" and 18.5" above the mounting surface, with the articulating keyboard arm offering its own independent range of adjustment of 5" to 10" below any upper surface height setting.

The Taskmate is relatively compact, with the base requiring only a 15" wide by 21"deep area on the worksurface. The keyboard tray can be cantilevered to 5" below the desk to 13" above the desk. Non slip pads for the base and Velcro are included to attach monitors to the top of the unit for added security. The top platform for the monitor is 30" x 14" with diagonally tapered front corners to accomodate ergonomic positioning of the two included 8.5" x 11" document holders/phone holders. An optional wrist rest is included with the tray.

The Taskmate Journey from HealthPostures allows one to create a sit to stand workstation on any standard desk. The unit does not need to be affixed to the worksurface, as its rugged construction and weight (50 lbs) is sufficient to provide stability through its full range of movement. The height is adjusted by a simple two way rocking button which effortlessly uses an electric motor to raise and lower the monitor and keyboard simultaneously. The keyboard arm mechanism provides an additional 6" of height adjustment of the keyboard tray.
